Food and drink fit for
explorers and mountaineers
We’ll set you up for a day’s exploring in Snowdonia with a good hearty cooked breakfast, or cereals and juices if you prefer a light healthy start to the day; and we can send you off with a packed lunch too. And when you return to the hotel hungry, thirsty and tired, we’ll fill you up with our delicious and plentiful three or five course evening meals. Suitably restored you can wander through to the Resident’s Bar where further refreshment of the liquid variety is available, and where we expect to hear tales of adventure, poems, songs and news from the outside world.
Main picture: The public bar fireplace bears the P-Y-G emblem and original 1810 date. Above: The immaculately presented dining room is a fine space for a fine meal. Left: The hotel is fully licensed to serve the public, and at lunch-time we serve quiches, pies and salads in the public bar. Below: Antique silver complements the honest fare, and, like the hotel itself, bears the patina and polish of generations.
